What Is Medicare?

Prescription Drug Coverage
Adds prescription drug coverage to Original Medicare and some Medicare Cost Plans and Medicare Private Fee-for-Service Plans.

What Is PACE?
The Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a Medicare and Medicaid program that helps people meet their health care needs in the community instead of going to a nursing home or other care facility.
What PACE covers:
- Comprehensive medical and social services coordinated by a team of professionals
- Adult day health care, primary and specialty medical care
- Home care, physical and occupational therapy
- Prescription drugs, social services, and nutritional counseling
- Hospital and nursing facility care when necessary
- Transportation to the PACE center and medical appointments
Who Qualifies For PACE?
- 1Age 55 or older
- 2Live in a PACE service area
- 3Need nursing home-level care as certified by your state
- 4Be able to live safely in the community with PACE support
